Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees and organizers of SnapCon.

Expected Behavior

  • Respect all attendees and organizers.
  • Be respectful of the venue, hotel staff, and hotel guests. We want to ensure our event doesn’t disrupt other patrons of the hotel.
  • Be aware of your surroundings and look out for each other. If you see something, say something.
  • Obey the local and federal laws of Tampa, Florida and the United States.

Harassment and Violence

SnapCon is committed to providing a safe event for all attendees. We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment and violence including, but not limited to:

  • Stalking
  • Intimidation
  • Threats of violence
  • Assault
  • Inappropriate photos or videos without consent
  • Disruption of events
  • Inappropriate physical contact
  • Unwelcome physical attention
  • Inappropriate sexual, harassing, or offensive comments


The SnapCon Team will not tolerate discrimination of any form, including offensive words, clothing, or actions regarding, but not limited to:

  • Race, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender presentation, sexual orientation, age, body size, disability, appearance, religion, citizenship and pregnancy.


Do not participate in any activity that could be dangerous to yourself or others.

If anyone is found to be engaging in harassing or violent behavior, SnapCon organizers will take action as necessary, including removal from all SnapCon events.

Anyone can and should report harassment or violence to a SnapCon organizer immediately. We will contact law enforcement if necessary.

Weapons

Weapons of any kind (real, replica, imitation, or otherwise) are not allowed at SnapCon.

Drugs and Alcohol

Do not possess or bring any illegal drugs to SnapCon.

Do not possess or consume alcohol inside the SnapCon ballroom. Outside of the ballroom, the hotel has a bar if you choose to consume alcohol.

Any person found to be under the influence of drugs, or alcohol at an inappropriate time or place is subject to removal from SnapCon.

Drink responsibly.
